Income Ideas And Resources
I would like to share some Income Ideas and Resources in this section.
From my experience over the last several years in helping people to avoid foreclosure, I have come to realize the enormous amount of people who live paycheck to paycheck, stuck in low wage jobs barely surviving on the income that they make.
Countless numbers of people that I speak with usually fall behind on bills because they were laid off, or got sick and waited forever for Workers Compensation or Disability to kick in and do what it was meant to do HELP! Which it rarely ever does, or by the time it does it's 5-6 months later.
And they are facing Foreclosure!
I've seen many people who suffer serious illness or medical setback, the type that causes someone to go on permanent disabilty have their income reduced so much that they can no longer afford to make ends meet.
Recently I came across an ABC program that featured a work from Home segment.
Two companies that were featured, Alpine Access and Willow, say they've lured new corporate clients in retail, publishing and financial services since the shows have aired.
For example, Home Depot and Time Customer Service, Inc. have signed on with Willow, whose contracted agents will provide home-based customer service.
In fact, Alpine Access, Willow and LiveOps say they plan to hire and/or contract with a total of 20,000 new agents in 2007.
The growth of U.S.-based customer service agents working from home has brought improved retention over traditional call center settings.
It also results in an improved experience for customers, which is key to brand preservation and customer loyalty and satisfaction, according to top businesses that favor keeping their calls in the United States.
Explore the Web sites of several companies, such as AlpineAccess.com,GoWillow.com, LiveOps.com, WorkingSol.com, and West.com, among others, This is a great income idea as most of these jobs start at around $9.00 per hour.
Another income idea to consider is the Foster Care system. There
are Social Service Agencies in every State in the US that have a need for responsible and caring guardians for the countless numbers of abandoned and neglected children that are in the system.
There are several types of programs that are normally available
such as temporary emergency boarding, full time foster parent or parents and some States may have boarding programs for young teen mothers.
Although these programs obviously aren't meant to be used as a primary source of income, I believe it could be a win win situation for someone who has the space in their home and heart for someone in this type of boarding program.
Refer to your States Social Services department for additional info.
